We are pleased to announce that our three employees -  Mateusz Żarski and Bartosz Wójcik from the Computer Vision Systems Group and mgr Kamil Książek from the Multimedia Systems Group - were awarded a grant by the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology for publication in a leading journal in the field of civil engineering. This grant is awarded under the Excellence Initiative - Research University program for publishing the work in the TOP1 journal.

Our colleagues' work appeared in Computer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering , which according to the JCR database is the best journal in the field of civil engineering and in the field of construction and building technology.
