S20 is the committee that advises the forthcoming G20 summit on scientific matters. The EU is in the G20, and Academia Europaea serves as the scientific representative of the EU at the G20 and other such meetings. Prof. Gelenbe is one of the five Academia Europaea members in the S20 and is representing the EU at the G20 for matters related to AI which is one of five priority areas on this year's G20.
