A research and development project awarded by the National Center for Research and Development, subsidized by the European Union, carried out in a consortium between co.brick and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gliwice under the FENG SMART Consortia program (Contract No. FENG.01.01-IP.01-A0GV/24-00).
Amount of project funding: PLN 7,933,656.20.
The aim of the project is to develop a virtual agent that will significantly facilitate small IT companies' application lifecycle management, supporting the diagnosis and resolution of problems and technical support processes. The project is planned to be implemented over 24 months.
The project will create innovative data analytics and advanced process automation solutions for proactive support and natural language interaction with users. The project represents an opportunity for cooperation between science and business, combining the Institute's expertise with the practical experience of co.brick, which will create a solution ready for use in the rapidly growing technology industry in Poland and around the world.
The solution will be dedicated to IT startups that create and maintain applications like containerized solutions in the Software as a Service model.
The main research challenges of the project include the development of methods for specialized inference from data of various types, causality analysis of detected problems, modeling of specific aspects of application behavior, and a broad set of issues related to natural language processing and interaction. The scope of the project includes:
- Development of hybrid models for analyzing cloud application data (metrics, logs, system and business events)
- Development of technologies for proactive detection and diagnosis of incidents in IT infrastructure
- Development of methods for interpreting and combining analytical and textual data
- Development of a user interface based on natural language communication
- Ability to combine with popular tools and technologies used in application maintenance and development and to use related knowledge resources.
