We invite you to training workshops for young researchers on effective methods of preparing and submitting articles for publication in high-ranking journals. The workshop will be led by prof. Mirosław Skibniewski. The following topics will be discussed during the workshops:

· How to choose the most appropriate (and best) scientific journal for your publication?
· How to select co-authors of an article and determine their order?
· What are the most important components of an article?
· What should you pay attention to when editing the text of an article in English?
· How to use text translator services? What translators should be avoided?
· What should be included in the text of the article and in supplementary materials sent to the editorial office for the article to be positively evaluated by reviewers?
· What should the correspondence between the author of the article and the editor of the scientific journal look like?
· How can you speed up the article review process and bring it to a successful conclusion?

At the end of the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to consult their own texts regarding the possibility of publishing them in a high-ranking journal.

About the workshop leader:

Professor Mirosław Skibniewski, a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and Carnegie-Mellon University, is the author/co-author of several book monographs and over 400 scientific papers published in American and international journals. Winner of many scientific awards in the USA, scholarship holder of the Fulbright and Humboldt foundations. He is an honorary doctor and a member of several academies in Poland and abroad. He supervised approximately 40 PhDs in the USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. and in France. For almost 30 years, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Automation in Construction magazine, published by Elsevier and valued at 200 points by the MEiN list of magazines. This journal had the highest (for 2021) Impact Factor in the Engineering-Civil discipline in the Web of Science database. Prof. Skibniewski is also a long-time reviewer, member of editorial boards or co-editor of over twenty other international scientific journals, including co-editor-in-chief of Frontiers of Engineering Management published by Springer.
