We call the bioelectric signal an electrical signal that arises in the tissues of living organisms. In particular, the signal generated in the complex functional system of the smooth muscle is interesting and described using EMG. The electromyogram reflects the bioelectrical activity of the smooth muscle of the reproductive system in the form of bioelectric activity recording preceding each systolic activity. At the same time, not all EMG activity triggers systolic activity. The systolic activity of the smooth oviduct and uterus is essential for the proper functioning of the reproductive system in humans and animals. In a healthy, non-pregnant uterus, there is a specific pattern of systolic activity, subject to hormonal regulation in the ovarian cycle. Changes in systolic activity are also strongly associated with the course of the fertilization process, pregnancy and delivery. The World Health Organization (WHO) in retrospective population studies draws attention to the growing problems with the fertilization process and long-term tendencies to the increase of germinal death, especially in highly developed countries. At the same time, premature delivery is considered the second and most important cause of death for children up to 5 years of age. For this reason, great importance is attached to functional tests of the activity of the reproductive system of humans, for which the model in invasive tests is the reproductive system of animals, in particular pigs. During the seminar, the characteristics of the EMG signal obtained from the reproductive system of pigs will be presented and key tasks for new directions of bioelectric signal analysis will be proposed.
