Zespół Komputerowych Systemów Wizyjnych istnieje od 1987 roku i zajmuje się ilościową analizą obrazów dwu- i trójwymiarowych. Współzałożycielem i wieloletnim kierownikiem zespołu był dr inż. Ryszard Winiarczyk. Obecnie pracami Zespołu Komputerowych Systemów Wizyjnych kieruje dr hab. inż. Agnieszka Tomaka.
